On the morning of 18th, reporters learned from Xiamen Transportation Bureau that Xiamen Rail Transit Line 3 ( Xiamen Railway Station to Caicuo Station ) was approved by the municipal government and will be opened at 10 : 00 on June 25.    After the operation of Line 3, Xiamen rail transit has formed a pattern of ' central radiation and three-way exit ', and ushered in the era of network operation.  The number of rail transit transfer stations increased from one to five, namely, Lvcuo Station of Line 1 / 2, Hubin East Road Station and Torch Garden Station of Line 1 / 3, Sports Center Station of Line 2 / 3 and Wuyuanwan Station.  At the same time, BRT stations transferred to rail transit increased from two to four, namely Wenzao Station, Caitang Station, Train Station and Shuangshi Middle School Station.  Therefore, after the opening of Line 3, the coverage of Xiamen ' s rapid public transport network based on subway and BRT will be significantly expanded, and the public travel will be faster and more convenient.
